I'm eating icecubes and they taste... funny.

They're just tap water. made this afternoon. But they taste like fridge. very slight hint of the weird combination of things there are in the freezer. most unsettling.

in other news, today I did some christmas shopping and caught "santa" (y'know, the guy they have dressed up in shopping centres where the kiddies can have their photo taken and whatnot) standing outside in the car park trying to have a ciggie. I gave him my lighter. So I can now say I have had a cigarette with santa claus.

Once again my loves, I am buggering off for a little while.
I'll lurk around every now and again, maybe post some senseless memes, but dont expect to see much of me for a while.

I love each and every one of you to bits and adore reading about your lives every day, but right now I need to take some time to get my shit together and to be there for my family. Life has hit a really rough patch and it's better for me to just deal with it rather than rant about it here and dwell on everything. I know you lovelies will understand. I get tired of always having depressing things to talk about, and I know you probably get sick of hearing my complaining. So no rambling rants from me. Dwelling on matters and thinking about them too much does nothing to help the situation.

if having inactive people on your friends lists bothers you, I seriously will not take any offence if you delete me.

Peace and LOVE LOVE LOVE to all of you. Hopefully I'll be back soon with happy news to tell you all.

So while I was doing my daily "tra la la, let's see what's happening in the news at home" thing, I read many an article which, to be completely honest, made me ashamed to be human. You dont see cats destroying the earth and pointlessly killing each other. Nor has there been a massive wave of needless violence amongst whales or hamsters lately.

220 children have been killed since this particular round of shit started in Gaza on the 27th of December. 220 children that will now never grow up thanks to the bigoted, selfish, fucking IDIOTIC acts of men who are fighting over a patch of land about the size of a small suburb. I dont even think the actual bit of land holds that much significance anymore. By now both sides have forgotten what exactly they're fighting over and are just playing tit for tat.

goes on for so long until no one can remember WHO fucking started it. It's immature, totally and utterly POINTLESS and is something akin to the arguments I had with my sister when I was five. Surely the grown up leaders of two nations could sort if out in a more mature, adult way than this! But no, they'll just blow each other up instead. UGH!

All I know is that IT NEEDS TO STOP!

I dont see any reason why Palestinians and Isralies (please forgive that horrendous spelling) cant just live in the little suburb side by side.

My folks at home are catholic, we lived next door to an Indian family (so Hindu) and there were people down the road who were Jewish and a family who were Muslim. We never had a problem living in the same damn street. I would venture to suggest that bloody Gaza (and most of Israel for that matter) is full of ordinary people who want for their children exactly the same things as my parents want for me: a safe, happy, healthy life.
Israel and Palestine, two countries where the majority of people are normal, ordinary people, need to stop blowing the shit out of each other and Lebannon needs to butt out.

So in short, mankind sucks.
If you're the praying type, please appeal to whichever God you like and freaking BEG for this pointless conflict to end. If you're not the praying type, just wish.
